Will spent much of his early childhood surrounded by builders while his parents painstakingly renovated an old stables. This early fasciation led him to pursue a career of domestic renovations and carpentry, beginning while in his teens.

In 2018, Will graduated from the University of West England with a degree in Building Surveying. Since then, he has also worked with numerous contractors, where he helped deliver a range of residential projects, from managing prestigious high-end residences to undertaking bespoke carpentry jobs himself.

In 2019, after buying a 1930s home in desperate need of a revamp, Will set to work on his first whole house renovation project. It was during this period where challenges were faced, and overcome, that Will began to hone his adoration for building beautiful spaces. When experiencing first hand, the joy that the transformation brought to him, Will realised he wanted to pursue this as a career, where his work could positively impact those around him.

After becoming a CIOB Chartered Builder, Will founded Conker in 2021, with the aim of creating a business that would use his experience and passion for design to create beautiful spaces and products. 

​

Since then, Conker has grown as a company, with a specialisation in sustainable Bristol garden room construction projects, set to Passivhaus standards. The design of these garden offices takes inspiration from Will's adoration of the outdoors, using locally sourced timber cladding that promotes the beauty of the natural world.

Working now with his girlfriend and business partner, Lauren, they are set to continue designing beautiful, customer-focused spaces
